Nathan and I decided to go to macrock this past weekend for our vacation from work. I don't have a camera so not pictures really, Nathan didn't take his, and I don't think Carling's Left her purse. Anyway.
We left Virginia Beach Thursday morning.
Got to Richmond in the afternoon.
Ate food. Sat at shafer. Saw Chip Yates. Went back to the house. Picked up Blair. Sold some books. Bought some drinks. Cleaned Blairs room. Drank.
Went to our friend Sarahs house for a gathering.
Anyway. Blair decided to not wake up the next day till around 1:30 when we had planned to leave at 12. So Carling, Nathan And decided to eat at Mom's Siam.
Shitty thing that happened 1:
After we ate we went and got Blair and went back to the house to get ready to head to JMU as we were opening the door to leave the house our dog Dante darted out the door and with no hesitation ran into the road and was hit by a car. Fortunately he was fine. Ragging boners on the way to the emergency vet and a traumatic prefestival weekend was a sign of the shit to come. (Ill post a picture of baby Dante later)
The vet told us he would be fine to go h ome the next day so we figured we were ok to still go up for the weekend and have Chip Yates pick him up.
DAY 1:
-Chugged Sparks in the truck.
-Missed Mas y Mas.
-Found the VFW
-Peed in the parking lot; got told "Better watch were you're pissin, the mans gonna get you" By some old war vet.
-He kind of looked like this but not really.
-Saw Furnace ; was disappointed.
-Left to go to the Blue Nile got to see Antlers. Amazing. Drank beers.

-Went back to VFW to see Brain Worms and the Catalyst.
The Catalyst
-Blair and i Found a secret room in the bathroom to drink in. Stole a Blow Torch which would later be renamed as the flame thrower.
-Decided it was hot in the secret room and stepped outside to finish our drinks. Another car full of old war vets told us to throw the drinks away so Blair and i just decided to go up front. Then saw that there was a field of barbwire next to the VFW and and decided to go there and finish the drinks.
-Sat under an 18 wheeler and pounded some jooses.
-Went to another venue I cant spell the name of. Blair had to work. I don't like metal but Valkyire was pretty sick.
-Went back to matts house. Sat around. Blair Drank alot listened to 80's hip hop dance jams on youtube.
- Forgot the rest of the night besides running to a burger king stealing a sign and putting it in a grave yard.
-Slept in the truck.
Day 2:
-Nathan and I woke up really early.
-Ate at the Artful Dodger.
-Blair Obsessed about losing the flame thrower.
-Went to the Label Expo.
-Blair Stole a dildo from hole in the wall.
-Bought these records.

-Drank.
-Blair was told to trade the dildo for some records, by one of the guys at the expo so he got batteries and did it to some girls. The dood gave him a free this will destroy you record slip.
Shitty thing that Happened 2:
We had previously stolen 6 pounds of hamburger meat and they were spread around fridges in harrisonburg. So Carling and Blair wanted to go get it. Nathan didn't feel like driving and seeing as Carling only had 1 sparks so far she figured she could rise to the occasion. Unfortunately she was not comfortable driving the car and she ran into a stone wall on the side. Damage looked pretty bad and there was a lot of random tension and crying. In the end we found out it would cost too much. Get stoked!
-Headed to the VFW to see our friends band.
-Hung around of some other random Hardcore bands.
-Got Hungry wanted taco bell.
-Came back to drop carling off so Nathan and I could go see the only 2 bands we wanted to see the entire trip.
-Tim Skirvin told Nathan that he could get us on side stage for the two bands so if
he came through all the stupid shit we went through would completely be worth it.

Shitty thing that happened 3:
SO we drove back from Aloha and Owen and we were heading to Matts house when we hear that some Richmond Drama had followed us to Harrisonburg. Meh we went home that night and stayed in Richmond.
Besides all the stupid shit that happened. Weekend wasn't all that horrible. I can say I wont be attending Macrock again anytime soon, but maybe every once and a while.
